For the inaugural year of Audubon North Carolina’s Bird-Friendly Communities program, we set the audacious goal of distributing 10,000 Nest Boxes for the Brown-headed Nuthatch – a priority species imperiled by habitat loss. Throughout the campaign, our team produced engaging promotional content, organized a community press event, conducted extensive media outreach to regional and local publications and more.
